We recognize that our Alumni play an important role in shaping the future of the University and the social work profession. We hope that by fostering a supportive community, this network can be an equitable strategy that disrupts the inequitable systems that our alumni experience…. being a part of marginalized communities or partnering with marginalized communities in their work. These efforts are to be in one accord with the core values and principles of the social work profession as stated in the NASW Code of Ethics.

Mission

The Master of Social Work Alumni Network at CSU aims to foster, strengthen, and renew lifelong relationships by engaging alumni, students, friends and family who support the MSW Program at Chicago State University.

Vision

It is our goal to connect alumni, current students, and faculty to shape the future of the MSW Program, Chicago State University, and the social work profession by providing opportunities for lifelong learning, networking, volunteering, and advancing careers.
