Deadlines

The completed application and all supporting documents must be on file in the Office of Admissions by the dates listed below. However, early application is strongly recommended. Completing the application by the Priority Deadline Date guarantees your application is considered for an early decision and merit scholarship opportunities.

Use of your Social Security Number

Your social security number is not required for admission to CSU; however, by providing it, you will help us to match your application materials and is required if you are applying for federal financial aid (FAFSA). The University is committed to ensuring the privacy and confidentiality of student records and will not disclose your SSN without your consent for any purpose except as allowed by law.

Applying as a Non-U.S. Citizen

Non-U.S. Citizens that currently have permanent residents status must do the following:

  • Attach a copy of both sides of their Permanent Resident registration card to this application.
  • Review admissions criteria regarding freshman and transfer applicants.
  • Submit the documentation of any secondary or post-secondary institutions they have attended. Documents should be original or true copies of records. If the records are in a language other than English, then a certified translation is also required.
  • Credentials from all secondary schools should be submitted with a certified detailed evaluation from a nationally known credentials evaluator. See the International page for further information.
