The American Occupational Therapy Foundation is a charitable, non-profit organization created in 1965 to advance the
science of occupational therapy and increase public understanding of its value.
Chicago State's Student Occupational Therapy Association (SOTA) maintains a Facebook
page that provides notices of SOTA events, news related to the organization and links
that are relevant to occupational therapy students.
The Chicago State University Foundation raises funds and accepts charitable gifts on behalf of the University for a variety
of purposes central to the academic objectives of the University. The Foundation accepts
donations for the Department of Occupational Therapy including donations to the Artice
Harmon Memorial Scholarship, and the Batia Levy Family Award.
