 Early Arrival Policy & Interim Housing

Early Arrivals are not permitted. No exceptions will be made to this policy. The University does not offer interim housing during the break. The breaks consist of Spring Break, End-of-semester breaks, Thanksgiving and December Winter Break. The interim break fee is $50.00 per day, plus the cost of meals.

 

Housing Contract Cancellation

Students that request a Cancellation of the contract before moving into University Housing (checking out keys), and prior to the applicable opening day of University Housing, will be accepted with one of the following guidelines:

  1. A written request for cancellation received on or before June 1 for the fall semester or January 1 for the spring semester will result in the refund of any charges.
  2. A written request for cancellation received on the first day of classes each semester will result in 100% refund.
  3. Cancellations that occur after the first week of class and subsequent weeks receive an 80% refund, a 60% refund for the second week, a 40% refund during the third week and a 20% refund during the fourth week. After the fourth week there is no refund of housing costs.
