Note: Students will not be able to drop or withdraw the last class online resulting in a full withdrawal with zero (0) credit hours of enrollment as of January 16, 2023. Students must submit the “Complete Withdrawal Request” online, located on the “student” tab of CSU X-Press by the Withdrawal deadline. Students must also participate in a short exit interview with a Financial Aid Advisor. See instructions here.

14	Spring 2023 Intersession classes begin.
16	Last day to drop Intersession (4-week) courses online for 100% reversal of tuition & refundable fees when registered for 15 hours or less or upon completed withdrawal from all courses. Note: In order to drop from an Intersession course, a drop form must be submitted within two (2) days from the start of the intersession course to receive 100% reversal charges).
20	Last day to withdraw or completely withdraw from an Intersession course to receive a "W" on the transcript.

January 2023
2	New Year's Day Holiday – no classes
3-7	Spring 2023 Intersession classes continue.
3-19	Spring 2023 Book Voucher distribution period (view Bursar's Website).
7	Last day for Spring 2023 Intersession classes.
12	Spring 2023 Regular Session registration closes. It will resume Friday, January 13.
13	Residence Hall opens for move-in (for new students only). Final payment due in full or enroll in a Payment Plan for Spring 2023 courses. Verified Payment Source confirmation with the Bursar Office. Note: A Verified Payment Source is how you plan on paying tuition and fees prior to registration. A Verified Payment Source includes Financial Aid, Scholarships, Veteran Benefits, Employer/Third Party Sponsors, CSU Employee/Senior Waivers, paying in full, or enrolling in a payment plan.
14	Residence Hall opens for move in (for returning students).
16	Martin L. King Day Holiday – no classes.
17	Regular Session (16-week) Spring 2023 classes begin.
17-21	Late Registration/Change of Schedule period for the Regular Session (16-week) courses. Students may add/drop courses online during this period. Payment is due at the time of registration. Note: Students may add a class through Saturday, Jan 21.
17-31	Ventra CTA card distribution (by appointment only, please contact the Cashier's Office).
23	Last day to drop a 1^st 8 Week course for 100% reversal of tuition and refundable fees when registered for 15 hours or less or upon complete withdrawal from all courses. Note: Students may not drop themselves from their last class online after January 17, 2023. Please refer to the Registrar webpage for complete withdrawal information. 27	Last day to drop a Regular Session (16-week) courses online for 100% reversal of tuition and refundable fees when registered for 15 hours or less or upon complete withdrawal from all courses. Complete Withdrawals are made on the Student tab in CSU X-Press. Deadline to submit proof of required immunizations to Wellness/Health Center to avoid a $25 non-compliance fee.
30	First Disbursement - Pell & Direct Loans. Last day to completely withdraw from the 1st 8-week classes & receive a 50% reversal of tuition & fees. Note: 50% reversal of charges only applies to complete withdrawals.

February 2023
1-10	Ventra CTA card distribution continues (by appointment only, please contact the Cashier's Office).
2	Spring 2023 Special Session registration closes. It will resume Feb 3.
3	First day for student refunds.
6	Special Session (12-week) classes begin.
6-11	1^st Academic Warning Reporting Period for Regular Session & 1^st 8-week coursework. Late Registration/Change of Schedule Period for Special Session. Students may add/drop courses online during this period. Payment is due at the time of registration. Note: Students may drop a class online through Saturday, Feb 11.
8	Last day to completely withdraw from the Regular Session (16-week) & receive a 50% reversal of tuition & fees. Note: 50% reversal of charges only applies to complete withdrawals.
14	Last day to drop a Special Session class online for 100% reversal of tuition & refundable fees when registered for 15 hours or less or upon complete withdrawal from all courses. 20	President's Day Holiday – no classes.
22	Last day to receive a 50% reversal of tuition & fees if students completely withdraw from the Special Session (12-week). Note: 50% reversal of charges only apply to complete withdrawals.
24	Deadline for enrollment in or waiving out of the mandatory student health insurance program for the Regular Session (16-week) term or Special Session (12-week) term. Deadline to submit undergraduate & graduate graduation applications for Spring 2023 degree conferral.

March 2023
6-11	2^nd Academic Warning Reporting Period.
11	1^st 8-Week classes end.
13-18	Spring Break - no classes.
17	Faculty deadline to submit Final Grades in CSU X-Press for 1st 8-week coursework.
20	2^nd 8-Week classes begin.
25	Graduates - Deadline to submit approved theses & dissertations to ProQuest (email Graduate & Professional Studies at graduateprograms@csu.edu for more information).
31	Last day to withdraw or completely withdraw from Regular Session (16-weeks) courses & receive a "W" on the transcript. For a complete withdrawal, please refer to Records & Registration website.

April 2023
1	Last day to receive a 50% reversal of tuition & fees if students completely withdraw from the 2nd 8-week classes. Note: 50% reversal of charges only apply to complete withdrawals.
3	Advance Registration for Summer and Fall 2023 begin.
8	Last day to withdraw or completely withdraw from a 12-week (Special Session) class & receive a "W" on the transcript. For a complete withdrawal, please refer to Records & Registration website.
10-15	3^rd Academic Warning Reporting Period.
22	Last day to withdraw or completely withdraw from a 2^nd 8-week class & receive a "W" on the transcript. For a complete withdrawal, please refer to Records & Registration website.

May 2023
6	Last day of classes before final exam period.
8-13	Final examination period.
10	Last day to submit Financial Aid documents, including SAP appeals, and still receive funding for Spring 2023.
14	Residence halls close at 12pm for all students (with exception for Spring 2023 graduates).
16	Faculty deadline to submit: Final Grades in CSU X-Press for Spring 2023 Change of Grade Forms for removal of an Incomplete "I" grade issued in Summer and Fall 2022. Incomplete Contracts for an “I” grade for Spring 2023. Note: Incomplete Contracts must be signed by the student, faculty, and Chair before it can be submitted to the Registrar's Office at: csu-registrar@csu.edu.
18	Spring 2023 Commencement Ceremony
19	Spring 2023 term ends.
22	Spring 2023 grades are available on CSU X-Press Spring 2023 degree postings are available on CSU X-Press
