Dr. Moussa Ayyash is a co-PI on a grant, awarded by the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC)'s Workforce Partner Alliance Program to the Illinois Semiconductor Workforce Network (ISWN) led by the Grainger College of Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. The goal of the project is to address the shortage of skilled professionals in the U.S. semiconductor industry. ISWN is forming an ecosystem of workforce development partners to create the next generation workforce to meet the critical needs of semiconductor industry.

Apply now for the 2025/2026 CSU Semiconductor Fellowship. ISWN is a program focused on growing the talent pipeline of engineers in cleanroom semiconductors manufacturing and operations at the undergraduate level, who are trained in industry-standard hardware and software tools. The CSU Semiconductors Fellowship is administered by the Center for Information and Security Education and Research (CINSER) and supports the goals of the ISWN program.
