Be a champion for CSU students by volunteering your time. Chicago State has an array of opportunities to share your Cougar Pride and our alumni and community members are our best resource. Some volunteer opportunities are ongoing, while others are one-off events or engagements.

Below is a list of current opportunities. Select the opportunity of your choice to learn how you can get more involved today.

 

 

Current Volunteer Opportunities

  • 371st Commencement Ceremony - Celebrate CSU's Class of 2024 by volunteering at th upcoming commencement ceramony. We need volunteers for jobs of all kinds! The time commitment will be from 9:30 am until 12:30pm on Thursday, May 9th in the Jones Convocation Center.
  • Alumni Board of Advisors - The Chicago State Alumni Association is going through some changes, and we'd like to mobilize commited alumni in the process of building alumni engagement opportunities. We are working to fill several advisory boards this summer, including Engagement, Legislative Advocacy, Athletics, Mentoring, and Scholarship committees. If you are interested in serving on one of these boards, contact Anna Kulseth, Director of Alumni and Individual Engagement, at akulseth@csu.edu
  • Fitness Center shifts - Help man the Cougar Fitness Center front desk. Shifts during the day and early evenings. Email Dawn Deener at ddeener@csu.edu for information and availability.
  • Cougar Leadership Institute - Be a part of shaping our next generation of leaders by volunteering your expertise and mentorship to current CSU scholars.
  • Cougar Mascot - Have fun in this engaging opportunity, being the life of the event as the CSU Cougar.
