The Office of Academic Support (OAS) is dedicated to students' personal, social, and academic growth. The office consists of professional staff members who work as a team to help students gain the knowledge, skills, and tools necessary to graduate in a timely manner. The staff works closely with students through advisement to develop academic plans which will aid students in the identification and achievement of their academic, career, and life goals. We support students in their academic pursuits and challenge them to strive for excellence. Our mission, put simply, is to transform lives.

The mission of the Office of Academic Support is to serve the academic advisement and support needs of Chicago State University students through programming, teaching, and student engagement.
