Candidate - Class of 2028

1. Why I chose CSU-COP?
I chose CSU-COP because of its strong focus on serving diverse communities and providing hands-on learning experiences early in the program. The small class sizes and supportive faculty create a collaborative environment where students can truly thrive.
2. What I want to do with my PharmD?
I hope to complete a residency and explore clinical pharmacy while staying open to new opportunities along the way. My goal is to use my PharmD to make a real impact on patients’ lives and support communities that need it most.
3. What strategies help you stay balanced and motivated in pharmacy school?
I focus on consistency rather than perfection, setting small daily goals that keep me on track. Spending time with family, friends, and my cat helps me recharge, and celebrating small wins keeps me motivated through challenging weeks.
4. Advice for incoming pharmacy students.

Give yourself grace and stay curious. It’s normal to feel overwhelmed at first, but breaking big topics into smaller pieces helps a lot. Connect with your classmates, having a support system makes the journey much more enjoyable.
