Malik Alomari, PharmD
Candidate - Class of 2028
1. Why I chose CSU-COP?
I chose CSU-COP because of its strong commitment to preparing students for real-world pharmacy practice, the supportive faculty, and the opportunity to serve diverse patient populations.
2. What I want to do with my PharmD?
With my PharmD, I want to make a direct impact on patient care by improving medication safety and accessibility. I’m especially interested in community and clinical pharmacy, where I can build relationships with patients and help them better understand and manage their health.
3. What strategies help you stay balanced and motivated in pharmacy school?
I try to keep a routine that includes studying, but also time for prayer, family, exercise, and rest. Breaking material into smaller, manageable sections helps me stay on track without feeling overwhelmed. And whenever I feel stressed, I remind myself that every challenge is preparing me to be a stronger pharmacist in the future.
4. Advice for incoming pharmacy students.
|
Be ready to put in consistent effort, but don’t be afraid to ask for help when you need it. Stay organized, make time to review daily, and build a support system with your classmates. Most importantly, remember why you started. |
