In Memoriam: Dr. Sonya Fields 

Dr. Sonya Fields (Education B.S.’03, M.S'06), CSU alumna and Chicago Public School teacher passed away this week. Fields taught 2^nd grade elementary school students on the southside of Chicago and touched the lives of many during her career as an educator.

She was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc. and was initiated into the Xi Kappa Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha at Chicago State University in 2001.  

She is survived by her husband and daughter.
