CSU Answers ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

Several Members of the CSU Family led by President Watson recently answered the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on the first day of classes this week. The challenge was issued to Dr. Watson by Gov. Pat Quinn. On behalf of CSU, Dr. Watson passed on the challenge to the following individuals:

• Jim Reynolds, CEO, Loop Capital
• Leslie Baskerville, President, National Association for Equal Opportunity in Higher Education (NAFEO)
• Steve Brown, Spokesman, Office of the Speaker of the House
• Rick Johnson,  Basileus, Omega Psi Phi

The group also had a brief moment of silence to honor the memory of Michael Brown and all those who have been lost to senseless violence.
