About the Parker Family Endowment
The purpose of the Jerell Parker Sr. Family Endowment is to fund the following components for the benefit of students at Chicago State University:
- Parker Family Scholarship Fund will provide scholarships for Black male students attending CSU each year.
- Parker Family Athletic Scholarship Fund will provide scholarships to Black male student athletes at CSU.
- Parker Family Black Male Mentoring Program Fund will support the launch and operation of the Parker Family Black Male Mentoring Program. Working in partnership with CSU’s African American Male Resource Center, the Black Male Mentoring Program will match Parker Family Scholarship recipients with male mentors who serve as thought partners, advisors and role models to the students.
