On August 26, Gov. Pritzker announced a mandate requiring all Illinois higher education employees and college students to be fully vaccinated. Those individuals unable to be fully vaccinated will be required to participate in regular on-campus COVID-19 testing.
Chicago State University is currently reviewing the mandate and our existing COVID-19 policies, along with guidance we expect to receive from the Illinois Board of Higher Education. We will provide an update to the campus community next week.

There is currently wide vaccine eligibility and availability: all individuals ages 12 and up are eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. The University continues to urge all students, faculty and staff to receive the COVID-19 vaccine, and will be offering free, on-campus clinics at a later date. In the meantime, the COVID-19 vaccine is widely available nationally, including through your healthcare provider, neighborhood pharmacy, and more.
