10:00 AM International Admissions Register

Join us to learn more about Chicago State University's academic programs and about the application process for individuals from other countries to apply to Chicago State University. We will review admission requirements and answer any specific questions you may have about how to get admitted to the school and next steps in the process.

12:30 PM Success U and Conditional Admission Register

Have you been provided information on Conditional Admission to CSU? Not sure if you're fully academically prepared for CSU? Come learn about your options in the Office of Academic Support ! The goal of the SuccessU Program is to assist incoming, freshmen students whose pre-college education did not fully prepare them to reach their academic potential. The SuccessU program provides students with needed resources to help them take full advantage of the educational opportunities Chicago State University offers and to help them succeed during their first year of college with the end goal being graduation.

The LRC provides pre-college services for high school students and their families, professional and leadership development for college students and cultural programming for the University community. The Office of Latino Affairs is housed in the Latino Resource Center (LRC) and we will assist you in achieving your educational and professional goals by offering extensive support services and living-learning-serving experiences. In addition, our professional team is ready to make your transition to Chicago State University's campus life and academic programming as smooth as possible.

12:30 PM The ABC's of Financial Register

Financial Aid and Admissions representatives are excited to provide next steps information related to Financial Aid and the Fall 2020 Scholarships Application process. Whether you need to know about FAFSA, the verification process or how to apply external scholarship funds, our staff are here to help.

3:30 PM Housing and Residence Life at CSU

With a three-story residence hall and three lounge spaces, Chicago State University strives to provide a residence experience that is enriched with diverse living and learning experiences. We achieve this by providing academic, social, cultural and personal developmental support through programing and student engagement, and campus collaborations.

6:00 PM Supply Chain Management Register

These unprecedented times have increased the need for talent in Supply Chain Management. The career outlook continues to grow and we are proud to offer you this opportunity in one of the most vital industries today. Register

THE AAMRC offers programming for all majors through peer mentorship, academic support, identity development, and programming! Come learn about our is a computer lab with free printing, the AAMRC library, the Book club, job posting board and more! Did you know CSU is partner with the Thurgood Marshall College Fund? Join us as we explore each of these areas for African-American Males at CSU.

11:00 AM US Coast Guard/Veterans Resource Center

CSPI (College Student Pre-Commissioning Initiative) is a full-tuition scholarship program designed for motivated individuals who desire to serve their country in the United States Coast Guard. The purpose of the program is to promote the Coast Guard at Minority Serving Institutions. CSU is the first institution in Illinois to offer this unique partnership and the only selected university in the Midwest.

12:30 PM The FAFSA and Financial Aid Regiser

Students accepted into this program will be enlisted into the US Coast Guard and complete basic training during the summer. During the school year, students are required to participate in a minimum of 16 hours of Coast Guard activities per month. Upon graduation, CSPI students are commissioned as officers in the United States Coast Guard.

11:00 AM Rise Academy Register

Join us for a few moments to learn about this awesome ful-tuition opportunity! In the Rise Academy, students will participate in workshops, build relationships with classmates, explore career options and learn the “ins and outs” of college life. The program starts with a 5-week intensive course in the summer and continues throughout the academic year.

12:30 PM Foreign Languages & Study Abroad Register

This interactive session will highlight the importance of Foreign Languages in many fields that we use today! We will do a deep-dive on study abroad through the years, and we combine with a fun interactive activity, and then Q&A. Also hear how many CSU alumni work with international organizations here in Chicago and in Paris.

3:30 PM Athletics Register

Want to know what it's like to attend a school with 15 Division 1 Athletics? Are you interested in being a student athlete? Join the CSU Cougars in this engaging session on the athletic experience here at CSU! Go Cougars!

5:30 PM Admitted Next Steps

Register

Are you admitted to CSU? If you answered yes, congratulations on your admission! Your next step is to confirm your admissions by attending your pre-registration checklist at an Admitted Student Day! This session is designed to help guide you through important next steps of claiming your account, complete financial aid, set-up placement exams and more! By the time you leave this session, you'll be all set for registration and one step closer to the first day of classes! You can meet with CSU staff from various offices to assist you to the next step to becoming a Cougar!

6:00 PM Transfer Admissions We know that transferring to any university can be a difficult decision and process. That is why here at CSU we want to work with you to make your transition as smooth as possible. It is a great time to take your educational journey into your own hands in transferring to Chicago State University.

Want to join one of the most dynamic and growing global careers but not sure where to get started? Join us to learn more about careers in Health Sciences! Here we will discuss our Direct Admissions Program and how we are preparing students for public health.

11:00 AM Career Development Register

The Career Development team works diligently in helping all our students to leverage their academic and leadership experiences through individualized support and access to employer partnerships. Come learn how we conduct face-to-face career counseling services that offer the opportunity to check in on our students’ social-emotional wellbeing and career preparation status.

12:30 PM Diverse Scholars in Education Register

Interested in being a teacher? This full-tuition scholarship program is designed to introduce the foundations of education and teaching as a profession to talented Chicago high school graduates with an interest in urban education.
