Accreditation of the Business Programs at Chicago State University Reaffirmed by ACBSP

OVERLAND PARK, KS, USA  — The Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners has reaffirmed accreditation of the business programs at Chicago State University, in Chicago, Illinois.

Established in 1988, ACBSP is the only organization offering specialized business accreditation for all degree levels, from associate to baccalaureate to doctoral degree programs. ACBSP accreditation certifies that the teaching and learning processes for the business programs offered through the Chicago State University College of Business meet the rigorous educational standards established by ACBSP.
The business programs at Chicago State University were first accredited by ACBSP in 2006. Chicago State is required to go through the reaffirmation process every 10 years to maintain ACBSP accreditation. “Chicago State University has shown their commitment to teaching excellence and to the process of quality improvement by participating in the accreditation process,” said ACBSP Chief Accreditation Officer Dr. Steve Parscale, who will present the Certificate of Reaffirmation of Accreditation at ACBSP Conference 2018 in Kansas City, Missouri, USA on June 10.

“This reaffirmation of accreditation is evidence that Chicago State University is committed to maintaining the highest quality business education for their students for the next 10 years, just as they have done since 2006,” said Parscale.

“When a College of Business student graduates from Chicago State University, they are well prepared to succeed in today’s global marketplace. We achieve this by providing them with a transformative academic experience, built upon a strong foundation base in core business subject areas, enhanced with interpersonal skills that prepare them to excel in their chosen field, whether that is Accounting, Entrepreneurship, Finance, Human Resources, Information Systems, Management, or Marketing,”
said Mr. Collins.
