Our partnerships are the bedrock of our quantum work and research. By joining forces with leading academic institutions, government agencies, and industry leaders, we create a dynamic ecosystem that accelerates discovery and translates breakthroughs into real-world applications.
Our partnerships directly support CSU's commitment to education, community engagement and workforce development. If you're an industry leader, academic institution, or government agency interested in providing student opportunities, or exploring other partnership avenues, please reach out to our department chair, Dr. Valerie Goss, at vgoss@csu.edu.
CSU is also a partner in the Mic2ExL project, funded by the National Science Foundation as a Chicagoland Partnership for Semiconductors and Microelectronics Experiential Learning. Its goal is to increase participation of minorities in the local semiconductor and microelectronics industry through experiential learning opportunities, mentorship, and culturally responsive support.
As a partner in the NSF QuBBE project, CSU works closely with the University of Chicago and other partners, such as the Quantum Academy at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and the Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation. These collaborations enable us to share resources, leverage diverse expertise, and bridge the gap between fundamental research and technological development to propel the quantum field forward on the South Side of Chicago.
We’ve partnered with QuSTEAM, a non-profit membership organization that supports a collaborative network of academic institutions, industry employers and instructors by facilitating undergraduate quantum education.
