President Z Scott
Chicago State University |
CHICAGO, IL – Crain’s Chicago Business announced Zaldwaynaka (Z) Scott, President of Chicago State University as a 2024 Notable Black Leader.
Since her appointment in 2018, President Scott has championed the dual initiatives of establishing CSU as a center for equity in education and a community anchor. Due to efforts in these areas, CSU led the founding of the National Coalition for Predominantly Black Institutions (PBI), which then led to the formation of the first U.S. Congressional PBI Caucus, and launched the 95th Street Corridor Economic Development Plan.
From distinguished executives to mentors, all of the leaders honored this year and in years prior are trail blazers working to enrich their companies, our communities and our city.
Join us in congratulating CSU’s President Z Scott on this well deserved accomplishment!
