Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority Inc.

An interest group of Sigma Lambda Gamma National Sorority, Inc. (SLG) was founded in the spring of 2007 at Chicago State University. It began with a group of women (sisterhood of all cultures) that exemplified the same beliefs and principles of academics, community service, cultural awareness, social interaction and morals and ethics. The group of women were first recognized on campus as a student organization called Entre Amigas. Entre Amigas was committed to make a positive difference on campus by educating students about their mission, providing educational workshops, promoting cultural awareness, empowering women of all cultures and gathering groups of students to serve the community. Several women of Entre Amigas later established a Colony of SLG. They made CSU history by becoming the first Latina Greek organization to gain chapter status on August 11, 2009.

SLG is seeking women of distinction; women with self motivation, commitment, and willingness to empower the community by paving the path for future sisters. If you are interested, make sure to email them and support them at their events!
