Experiential Education

The Office of Experiential and Continuing Professional Education is committed to preparing and empowering pharmacy students and pharmacists to become competent providers of pharmacy care in all practice settings.  This mission is achieved through a combination of innovative didactic coursework, experiential training, continuing education, mentoring, scholarship, and community service. Goals of the College of Pharmacy CPEP:

• Establish and enhance community, educational and professional partnerships

• Develop and strengthen post-graduate education and training opportunities

• Provide structured educational programs and services to promote life-long learning, continued personal and professional development and enhanced professional competencies

• Promote active learning, problem solving and critical thinking applicable to the practice of pharmacy and health care-related services

• Use feedback from local constituents to determine timely, relevant topics that promote patient centered care across practice settings

• Design activities to meet the needs and responsibilities of pharmacists and technicians
