My name is Alexandra Rodriguez. I am a preschool teacher assistant for three to five years old. I started working with children ever since I volunteered at a kindergarten classroom in 2013. I graduated from St. Augustine College in 2016 with my associate's in Early Childhood Education. I did my practicum with toddlers at a daycare called Kiddy Kare. I provided support, interaction and focused on each child’s development. I became a lead teacher with the toddlers for four years. In 2020, I was a parent educator for an organization called SGA Youth and Family Services. I worked on providing support to each one of my families and children. In 2021, I was a director for a daycare called Learning Express Child Care. My role was to provide a safe and positive environment for the families, children, and staff members. I am currently finishing my Bachelors of Social Work at St. Augustine College in summer 2022. I am excited to provide a diverse experience and gain knowledge in planning and implementing various activities for the children and families. I want to continue to promote a child’s physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development.
