On behalf of Chicago State University’s School of Graduate and Professional Studies, we are pleased to welcome  and encourage your examination of our university and its  particular graduate and professional programs. Allow us to also invite you to visit our campus as you consider becoming a part of the CSU family. Nothing reveals CSU’s uniqueness like a visit to our campus and the face to face contact you will have with our talented faculty, staff and students.

As a CSU graduate student, the common practice of having face to face interactions with faculty and fellow students in classrooms, laboratories, and community settings is at the core of our educational pedagogy.  Graduate programs are designed to provide student growth in both theory and practice. Our graduate faculty is counted among the most qualified and successful in research and publications nationally, and  CSU‘s graduate and professional programs offer the latest in cutting edge research opportunities in emerging  areas of technology and humanities. Our graduate advisors, dedicated student services professionals, and librarians are ready to synergistically help students formulate plans of study appropriate to their interests and consistent with the guidelines of the School of Graduate and Professional Studies.

The University makes available excellent resources in its newly opened academic library.  The several computer laboratories are especially designed for advanced study in graduate and professional programs. Course scheduling is structured to accommodate those who work during the day by providing late afternoon, evening and Saturday courses. Please make plans to visit our campus to see firsthand the outstanding advances that CSU is producing. We’re in the business of transforming lives!
