logo

Our logo: The circular structure is the combination of the symbol denoting male and female, adapted from the Swedish botanist Carl Linnaeus who in 1751 used this structure to create gender assignments for plants which were later adapted to human gender assignment. The comb-like structure in the middle is a piece of Adinkra symbolism that represents the feminine beauty of all people. The two together represent the recognition of both masculinity and femininity as an integral part of being human despite one's gender identity.
