Description of our Services The Media Services Department within the Learning Resources unit, provides audio visual equipment and materials to the Chicago State University community on a walk-in basis. The department also provides audio visual instructional support to the classroom, and public address / support for events held on campus.
The general hours for audio visual and public address equipment pickup is 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Equipment services requested outside normal hours, or which require additional personnel, are provided on an overtime basis and charged to the requesting department. For further information, please call extension 2211.
The Media Services Department also provides the following in-house services to students, faculty and staff at Chicago State University:
- audio tape listening
- audio tape dubbing (requires nominal fee)
- lamination (requires nominal fee)
- production of overhead transparencies (requires nominal fee)
- typewriters
