
The Center for Teaching and Research Excellence is a collaborative project developed by the Leadership and Policy Institute and the Department of Technology and Learning Resources.
Services are delivered in the two main areas:
- Support for policy-based research initiatives.
- Support for instructional technology training.

The Center is located on the fourth floor of the New Academic Library, Suite 428.
POLICY-BASED RESEARCH INITIAITIVE
- Consultation in qualitative and quanititative design, measurement and data analyses.
- Help with collecting, analyzing and interpreting data for evaluation and assessment purposes.
- Training in data analysis software and understanding statistical concepts and procedures.
- Help with data archiving for future secondary analysis.
- Access to CSU Reference Librarians to assist with electronic resources and other reference needs.
- Help with preparing research results for public presentation, e.g. conferences, professional papers.
INSTRUCTIONAL TECHNOLOGY
- Consultation in integrating technology and multimedia within content areas.
- Access and consultation with seasoned reference librarians for assistance with extensive online electronic resources.
- Assistance with copyright rules and regulations.
- Audio recording of lesson and test materials.
- Licensed duplication of audio materials for in-lab use.
- Scheduled training in a variety of systems, e.g. Blackboard, videoconferencing, Elluminate, and Smart classroom, etc.
- Design and delivery of instructional technology to support face-to-face, hybrid online courses, and instructional website design.
