Science Education Program at CSU

The Science Secondary Education Program at CSU prepares students to enter High School Science Teaching and engage in innovative instruction utilizing inquiry based teaching techniques and active engagement. Students can pursue early teaching experiences at CSU, to see if its the right field for you, through the Learning Assistant Program (as an LA) and the Learning Assistant Center (as a tutor) at CSU.

Preservice Teachers: Paths to Licensure

  • Undergraduate Degree with Initial Licensure
  • Licensure Only (for students who currently hold a BS degree in science or science related field)
  • Master of Arts in Teaching (for students who currently hold a BS degree in science or science related field)
