Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education plays a critical role in competitiveness and the future economic prosperity of college students.

The CSU S-STEM Grant, supported by the National Science Foundation, seeks to increase the educational attainment of CSU students and encourage more students to think of themselves as “scientists.”

Chemistry and Physics Majors who are accepted into the S-STEM Program receive tuition support (up to $8000/year) at CSU, engage in a summer program and weekend retreat, participate in early research experiences,engage in a peer and faculty mentoring program,receive funding to support travel to attend conferences and present research and explore graduate programs, teaching careers, and careers in scientific research.
