To Run Stinger after downloading it:
- Click Start
- In the space provided type in the path to where Stinger is located or use the browse button to locate the file.
- Click OK
- Configure Stinger
- Click Preferences
- Check: Boot Sectors, Report Applications, Scan All Files, Delete
- Click OK
- Click Scan Now
- When it finishes scanning, “Ready" will appear in the lower left gray information panel. If a virus was detected, it will appear in the white information window. If a virus was detected, run Stinger again by clicking the Scan Now button.
