Diversity in International Studies

The demand for International Studies program at Chicago State University is rising as no stone is left unturned. In a relentless pursuit of program diversity, IS features everywhere in Chicago neighborhoods. Targeting the Latino community, IS participated in a LOS Youth Leadership Summit to attract diverse population to the program.

Ms. Evelyn Castro, IS student and President of the Global Student Council, an International Studies students association at Chicago State, addressed potential students as she exposed them to the program and the need to become effective global citizens.

Many of the participants are looking into applying for admissions into the International Studies program. In this age if globalization, an informed global citizen is inevitable and that is exactly what the program at Chicago State University offers.
