Eligibility

We want to make sure that all entering students of extraordinary academic promise, exceptional high school background and high academic motivation have the chance to participate in the Honors College. Students in all degree-granting majors, professional programs, and undeclared majors are eligible. Accepted applicants to the university are recruited each spring to begin Honors work during their first semester. Entering freshmen are eligible to join the Honors College if they have one of the following:

• a composite ACT score of 23 or higher
• a cumulative high school G.P.A. of 3.5 or higher
• graduation in the top 10% of the high school class
