FAQs

Can I complete all courses online?
Each program has options that enable the entire degree to be completed online.  There may be select concentrations or specializations that require completion of some courses on campus.  Check with the program advisor for more information.

As a student in an online program, do I need to submit immunization records?
If you are completing a fully online program, you do not need to submit immunization records.  The program and courses are coded so enrolling in them does not trigger the immunization requirement.  However, if you enroll in an on campus or hybrid course at any time during your program, you will need to submit immunization records.  While you are able to register the first term you are in an on campus or hybrid course, a hold will be placed on your account the next term.  You will need to submit immunization records prior the next term.

I do not live in Illinois.  Can I apply to an online program at CSU?
CSU is looking forward to the state of Illinois joining the Midwest Higher Education Consortium’s State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement.  This opportunity will enable students in select states to receive an online degree from CSU.  Until then, we are only able to award degrees to students who reside in Illinois.
