Volunteer Opportunities

The history of Chicago State Volumteers

In addition to gifts of financial resources, the gift of your time can make an invaluable difference to the University.  Today, there are three organizations through which volunteers can participate in the ongoing work of developing and enhancing the Chicago State University.

TAGgers

The purpose of the TAGgers, The Auxiliary Group of the CSU Foundation, is to foster and encourage support for the educational and research programs at Chicago State University and to explore and develop partnerships between the University and its community.

The President’s Council of Community Volunteers

This organization focuses on the recruitment and preparation of college-bound students through pre-college academic enhancement programs and career readiness initiatives.  Community Volunteers also provide invaluable project assistance to many University departments and personnel.

The Leadership Volunteer Council

The Council provides lead support for the constituent programs at the University by creating strategic alliances between the University, its alumni, and its friends in order to promote fundraising and outreach efforts, in support of the University.
