Driving Directions to Chicago State University
Getting to Chicago State University from the south.
Take I-94 W toward CHICAGO and exit toward STONY ISLAND. Then follow 1-4 below.
Getting to Chicago State University from the southwest.
Take I-57 North to I-94 EAST and then exit toward STONY ISLAND and follow 1-4 below.
1. Take the NORTH STONY ISLAND AVE exit. 0.6 miles
2. Merge onto S STONY ISLAND EXT. 1.0 miles
3. S STONY ISLAND EXT becomes S STONY ISLAND AVE. 0.1 miles then keep left
4. Turn LEFT onto E 95TH ST/US-20/US-12. 1.4 miles
End at 9501 S King Dr Chicago IL 60628
CSU’s entrance is about 3 short blocks west of Cottage Grove.
Getting to Chicago State University from the southeast.
From the southeast, southbound on Lake Shore Drive, Jeffery Boulevard south to 95th Street and west to St. Lawrence Avenue.
Getting to Chicago State University from the north.
Take I-94 E or I-90 E (Portions toll). Merge onto DAN RYAN EXWY E/I-94 E
Take exit number 62- toward US-12/95TH ST/US-20. 0.2 miles
Stay straight to go onto S LAFAYETTE AVE. 0.1 miles
Turn LEFT onto W 95TH ST/US-20 E/US-12 E. 0.5 miles
End at 9501 S King Dr Chicago IL 60628
Getting to Chicago State University from the west.
Take Eisenhower Expressway (290), east to connect to the Dan Ryan Expressway and at 95th Street, take Exit 62 toward US-12/95TH ST/US-20. 0.2 miles
Stay straight to go onto S LAFAYETTE AVE. 0.1 miles
Turn LEFT onto W 95TH ST/US-20 E/US-12 E. 0.5 miles
End at 9501 S King Dr Chicago IL 60628
CSU’s entrance is about 4 short blocks east of King Drive.
PARKING
Parking is $10.
Parking is available in front of the Chicago State University Convocation Center. Representatives will be on hand to direct guests into the designated slots.
From East 95th Street enter the St. Lawrence gate and take the campus drive past the Jones Convocation Center (CSU Police sign is in front) around to Cougar Lane; make a right and head toward the buildings.
From MLK Drive enter the 99th Street gate and make a left at the second street (Cougar Lane) head toward the buildings.
CHECK-IN
All guests must check in at the registration table located inside of the Emil Jones Jr. and Patricia Jones Convocation Center.
