The CSU Faculty Senate is charged with presenting faculty issues and recommendations to the University on all matters affecting the academic functions of the University and the general welfare of the University.

In particular, the Senate focuses on, but is not limited to such academic concerns as admissions, academic standards, curriculum and evolving programs.

For the 2004-2005 academic year, the CSU Faculty Senate aims
to improve communication among faculty, administration, and students.
