Seed Grants
Seed Grants are provided as a stimulus to increase the number and amount of external grants and contract awards secured by CSU faculty.  The primary purpose of the grant is to provide financial support for new and innovative projects, which have the potential to yield external funding.  Full-time faculty and full-time lecturers are eligible to apply.

Student Engagement Grants
The Student Engagement Grant is a project to encourage the active engagement of students outside the classroom.  By providing financial resources, we are hoping faculty members and academic advisors will be encouraged to develop creative ways to connect with our students.  These connections should help our students explore new ideas, cultures, and experiences, while being able to engage with faculty outside the traditional role of instructor-student.  Full-time faculty, full-time lecturers, and academic advisors are eligible to apply.

We are looking for creativity in how the funding will be used to improve teaching and learning at Chicago State University. The grant will be offered once per year (April 1st) and will be considered after all of the other grants have been awarded and based upon availability of funds.  Full-time faculty, full-time lecturers, academic advisors, and academic department/division chairs are eligible to apply.
