The role of Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management is to help define and meet the strategic enrollment, retention, and graduation (ERG) goals. Through review and analysis of the changing student demographics and increased student needs the AVP considers and provides new conceptual thinking and planning that enhance the University’s ERG program and service delivery models. The role of the AVP is to lead through change collaboratively, with energy and creativity, and to do so through data informed decisions.
The Associate Vice President of Enrollment Management reports to the Vice President of Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. Additional responsibilities include providing leadership for the department of enrollment management, which includes the Offices of University Admissions, Records and Registration, and Student Financial Aid. These realigned departments directly support student access and success in a division committed to high quality customer service and programs that support student success.
The AVP of Enrollment Management works effectively and comfortably with persons at all levels both within and outside of CSU to build and maintain positive relationships. It is the role of the AVP to convey and help shape the Chicago State University vision, priorities and value proposition persuasively to a variety of internal and external constituencies, including prospective students and their families, senior administrators, faculty, alumni, and donors.
