Founded in 1867 as a teacher training school, Chicago State University (CSU) is the oldest public university in the Chicago metropolitan area. CSU is a fully accredited university offering 37 undergraduate, 22 masters degrees and the doctorate in educational leadership through four colleges – Arts and Sciences, Business, Health Sciences and Education. Our culturally diverse faculty and students come from around the country and the world to join those from the greater Chicago area.
