Program Design

The TCP Program is designed to provide weekly seminars on a variety of topics related to the concerns and interests of college bound students. Students meet with program facilitators on a weekly basis from September through June. The seminars are two hours long, and are held during evening hours. Although academic credit is not given, students receive a certificate of participation. Community organizations are also invited to attend monthly meetings.

Although, the TCP Program is housed on the Chicago State University campus, it is not designed primarily to encourage students to enroll in Chicago State University, but to become familiar with the variety of options available to them in higher education.
