Qualification for Admission

I.

Admission to the Undergraduate Program:
 

General education requirements are needed. The Office of Admissions has further information. You can reach them at (773) 995-2513.

II. Admission to the Graduate Program:
 

Applicants to the program must possess an undergraduate degree from an accredited institution of higher learning, and have an undergraduate grade point average of 3.0 (B average) on a 4.0 scale. Students with an undergraduate grade point between 2.75 and 2.99 may apply for Conditional Admission.

Students must obtain application forms from the Office of the Dean of Graduate Studies (LIB 338), and follow the attached instructions. Upon receipt of the completed application and all transcripts, the university and department will begin processing the material. The admissions process generally takes 2 to 3 months.
