The “Evergreen,” reflects the symbolic presence of Chicago State University.  It is always green and growing, persistent and long living.  Each stage of the evergreen’s growth broadens its base and increases its stature.

The globe distinguishes a connection to international interdisciplinary studies. The global educational community is contentiously interwoven and interacting.  It symbolizes the importance of worldwide academic interaction.

The motto PACTS, (Preparing All Candidates To Succeed) located under the Book of Knowledge, represents the Conceptual Framework, which embraces the College of Education's mission, philosophy, model and purposes for preparing educational personnel, and the knowledge bases under girding them.
