On Friday, October 20, 2006  was the event for the First Annual FB/TIP Reunion.  Many of the Alum turned out to celebrate and share their success.  Also present were members of the College of Education (COE) staff including, Dr. Sandra Westbrooks, Dean, and one of the major founders of the Program, Dr. Cathryn Busch, and Dr. Virginia E. Jones, who were professors who participated in the program.  The alum expressed regret that Dr. Genevieve Lopardo, also one of the major founders,  was not present; however, we hope to see her at the next event.

The Alum who were present have pledged to  serve  the FB/TIP by lending their expertise as grant writers, mentors, professional developers, being a part of the governing committee and much more.

It was an exciting event sharing and hearing about the successes that were attributed to the Field Based Program.  The next gathering will be   held during the holidays’ in the College of Education.
