Eligibility

Existing and prospective businesses and non-profit organizations within the State of Illinois are eligible for the Entrepreneurial Idol Competition.

Applicants Must:

Submit an Entrepreneurial Idol Competition application and an Executive Summary (pdf) of five pages or less via email to eicompetition@csu.edu. Both must be received by 4pm on Wednesday, December 21, 2011. E-confirmations will be sent within 48 hours of submission.

Documents containing more than five pages (excluding the cover page) will NOT be eligible. Applications must be completed and submitted with an Arial 11 font; applications submitted in other fonts/sizes will NOT be eligible for the competition.

Note: Only one application per person.

Workshop

Competition

• The 10 finalists will be notified of their advancement to the competition via phone and email between the hours of 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2012.
• Applicants not selected for the competition will receive an email stating they did not advance to the final round of the competition.
• Admission to the Entrepreneurial Idol Competition is FREE. Register online.
