Cougars Survive Late Rally To Defeat Cal State Bakersfield In First Round Of Independent Tournament

Edinburg, Tex. – Junior guard Jasmin Dixon scored a team-high 19 points and pulled down five rebounds, as Chicago State survived a late scare to defeat Cal State Bakersfield, 65-62, in the first round of the National Independent Tournament on Thursday afternoon in Edinburg, Texas. (more)

Chicago, Ill. – Chicago State University head coach Angela Jackson released the 2007-08 women’s basketball schedule on Thursday afternoon, a slate that includes four opponents who participated in last year’s NCAA Tournament and one opponent that was part of the post season NIT. (more)
