Media Credentials
Requests for press, radio, television and photographer credentials must be made through the CSU Sports Information Office. Requests must be made to Ruben R. Perez Jr. at rperez21@csu.edu. Passes are available for working media only and can be picked up in the sports
information office prior to game date. Media members wishing to cover CSU on the road should
contact the sports information office of the host school.
Media Services
Game notes, media guides, and
rosters will be distributed in the press room to all credentialed media members. Half-time stats will be distributed along press row and final stat books will be available at press row after the game.
Interviews
All requests for interviews and photo shoots with CSU players and
coaches should be arranged through the sports information office. Players can be interviewed before practice or after practice depending on individual availability. Interviews are conducted on the spot and should be requested at least 24 hours in advance. Players are not available for interviews on game days until after the game. Locker rooms are off limits to media members.
Post-Game Interviews
CSU players and coaches will be available for post-game interviews in the press room, room 103 of the Jacoby Dickens Center. Visiting players and coaches will be
available upon request. Request for a specific player interview should be submitted to men’s basketball
contact, Ruben R. Perez Jr. by the end of the game.
Photographers
Photographers are only permitted to work behind the baselines of the playing court and are not permitted to shoot in front of team benches, press row or the scorer’s table. Only media photographers will be issued credentials, unless
arrangements have already been made with the sports information office.
Visiting Radio
Two courtesy phone lines will be
provided for visiting radio teams. Phone lines are only available for local or toll calls. Please inform the sports information office of visiting radio requests at least one week in advance.
CSU on the Radio
All home basketball games will be broadcast on the Chicago State University student radio station, WCSU (Internet radio, http://wcsu.csu.edu/). Pre-game coverage will begin a half hour before tip-off.
CSU on the Internet
CSU media releases, statisitics, roster, schedules, and live radio coverage are available on the Chicago State athletics website, www.csu.edu/athletics. Updated information about all CSU 14 sports are available on the CSU athletics website.
Media Parking
Media members will receive a
validated parking sticker for each game they attend. Requests for stickers should be made to Ruben R. Perez Jr. before the end of the game.

Chicago State’s Campus
The University campus is located at 9501 S. Martin Luther King Drive, just 4 blocks east of the Dan Ryan Expressway.
From the North
Take I-94 south (the Dan Ryan Expressway); exit at 95th St., turn left at light and proceed to St. Lawrence Ave. CSU is on the corner of 95th and King Drive.
From the South
Take I-57 to Halsted St. (there is no northbound exit at 95th St.); proceed north (left) to 95th St., turn right at 95th St. and proceed east to St. Lawrence Ave. CSU is on the corner of 95th and King Drive.
From the Southeast
Take I-94 (Bishop Ford Freeway); exit at 103rd St., proceed west to King Drive, turn right on King Drive and proceed north to 99th St. CSU is on the corner of 95th and King Drive.
From Midway Airport
Proceed south from Midway on Cicero Ave. Take Cicero to 95th St., turn left on 95th St. and head east towards CSU. The campus is located just off 95th St., just past S. Martin Luther King Dr.
From O’Hare Airport
Proceed east from O’Hare on I-190. Follow the I-190, it becomes the Kennedy Expressway (I-90/94). Take the Kennedy into downtown. The Kennedy becomes the Dan Ryan Expressway (90/94) and follow the Dan Ryan (I-94) south until you reach 95th St. and exit. Turn left at the light at 95th St. and proceed to St. Lawrence Ave. CSU is at the corner of 95th and King Drive.
