YOU MUST HAVE A VALID CSU I.D. to use the labs. This will be strictly enforced!!
Eating & drinking are never allowed in any of the computer labs.

You must show a valid CSU I.D. upon entry of the lab. (No exceptions!!)

You must sign in & out in order to use the facilities.

Individuals other than CSU students, faculty, staff and alumni may use the facilities only with the permission of the Assistant Provost.

Users are not to alter or copy software, whether mainframe or microcomputer, made available to them through CSU without the explicit permission of the Assistant Provost.

Additional programs can be requested to be installed on the machines by professors. Updates to these programs can be requested by students or their professors.

Smoking, eating, & drinking are not allowed in the lab.

Loud or obscene language is not allowed.

Children are not allowed on the machines.

Cell Phones should be switched off upon entering the lab, if you must use your phone please place the ringer on vibrate.

In bringing your children to the lab we ask that you maintain a careful eye on them. We also that in the event that your child becomes upset and starts crying loudly, we ask that you take your child outside to calm him/her so other students will not be disturbed. In the event that your child remains disruptive you & your child may be asked to leave.

The viewing of inappropriate computer related materials in an educational institution of higher learning is strictly prohibited. (Example: The viewing of pornography or X-rated materials is NOT allowed.)

Files will be erased if stored on the hard drive. Therefore, you must purchase 3.5" high density diskettes or a jump drive if you wish to save your files.

We HIGHLY recommend purchasing a jump drive.

You should save your files every 5 to 10 minutes in the event of hardware malfunction.

Students may obtain a maximum of two laser black & white copies of each document printed per day. We do not supply color print-outs or xerox copies. All color print-outs/copies can be obtained in the Office of Duplications located in the Cook Administration Building room 130 from the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday - Friday. Students can obtain black & white xerox copies from there as well, for 6 cents a page, or they can make copies using the xerox machines within the main library on the second floor for 10 cents a copy.

The page limit for all laser black & white print-outs are 25 pages.

Users are not allowed to print signs or banners in the labs without permission from the Abilities Office coordinator.

Game playing is not allowed.

We ask that all visual students not use the two computers with JAWS.

Users may not use more than one workstation at a time.

The lab area comprises a work and learning facility. Please accord others your consideration. Users should dispose of any unwanted hardcopy and debris before leaving the work area. Please keep the work area clean.
By adhering to these guidelines you are guaranteed to a have pleasurable experience in our lab.
