Business, Marketing and Computer Education Program

The Business Education program prepares professionals to teach business related subjects in middle, junior high and secondary schools. The program qualifies candidates for a Type 09 Illinois High School Certificate in Business, Marketing, and Computer Education for Grades 6-12. The program meets Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) standards for Business, Marketing and Computer Education. In addition, the program aligns its operations with guidelines set forth by the National Association for Business Teacher Education (NABTE). businesswoman

The courses shown below are required for the Bachelor of Science degree and Illinois teacher certification in Business, Marketing and Computer Education. The program requires 129-130 credit hours for completion.
