ADA Coordinator of Disabled Student Services
Duties include: Develop and implement policies and services so that all university services and programs are accessible to students with disabilities. Help students with disabilities via accommodations to successfully negotiate classes, facilities and programs. The Coordinator will effectively collaborate with every academic department and administrative unit within the university to assure that programs and facilities meet the requirements of the Rehab Act of 1973 (Sections 503, 504 and 508) and the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990.
A master’s degree in psychology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or related field and a minimum of three years experience in higher education disability services.
