It is my pleasure to welcome you to the CSU graduate student listserv. The listserv was established by the School of Graduate and Professional Studies to serve as a platform to address the unique needs of graduate students. The listserv will also facilitate the bringing together of graduate students as a closed community of scholars. It is my sincere hope that the issues raised in this forum will be used to stimulate your thinking about not only the purpose of higher education, but also, and maybe most importantly, about how you can become an effective change agent in our global society.

I encourage you to use this forum for learning and research with your primary focus being on earning your degree. Once again, I welcome you all.
