Philosophy

TCP staff is committed to the philosophy that students need information about available resources. They need to know what to expect, how to prepare, what questions to ask, and how to find the answers. Access to this full range of information will provide the skills necessary for a positive transition from high school to higher education.

The TCP Program is based on the philosophy that parents have an absolute right and responsibility to be involved in their children’s education beyond the high school level.

The Program will familiarize parents and the community with strategies which will allow them to be integral part of their children’s academic and social development throughout their high school year.
