About Us

The Parent High School Student Transitional College Preparatory (TCP) Program is designed for high school students who want to attend a college or a university, their parents and members of the community. The program explores ways in which the desire for higher education can be translated into action.

High school students who plan to attend college need support and a solid foundation upon which to build for success in higher education. This support must come from their high schools, parents, and family members. Students and their parents need assistance in determining the extent of their educational needs and how to plan for a positive college experience. Step-by-step information on the process of making the transition from high school to college must be readily available to students and their parents, because students frequently do not know what is involved in this process.
